Fundamental Footwear - personal take on ‘minimal’ footwear today. The result of my recent (& on-going) education on foot health and observing the market trends today. Zero drop, no heel, no cushioning (insole optional), no toe and heel counter reinforcements, no shanks, no strobel. Practically, no lasting other than using Mike Friton’s closer-to-human-foot-shaped lasts only when cementing soles. Inspiration from YEEZY Boost 350 and FEIT Hand Sewn Low. Material exploration ranging from Portland’s finest Pendleton Wool, to Leather, Suede, Synthetic Mesh Package, and 3/8” Mini-Ripple Vibram Rubber Soles.
